This is such a magical place. You get a real cabin feel with space that is uncommon today and within good proximity to Bemidji. The cabins are very clean and the owners are the sweetest. It’s a perfect place for fishing (use their boats or bring your own) and spending peaceful time on the lake. The screened in porches are perfect for game nights! Bonus, super affordable.
Really cozy, private, and family and fishing oriented. It's been owned by the same family for 45 years (the place itself is almost 100 years old and a former Viking training camp) and they love their guests and the resort. Boats are provided and there's bait available. Cabins vary in look and size.
Clean cabins with heat so you can still do some fall fishing in late September. I have stayed here in 2008-09 in August with extended family and had a wonderful time. We came back almost ten years later and we were not disappointed. You can use the resorts boats or bring your own. Close enough to town and still have the northern Minnesota experience. Owners were very accommodating with our visit. I would recommend this resort for a great getaway.
A treasured retreat from the workaday life, situated comfortably on Lake Campbell. Rustic and charming, this resort offers fabulous views of nature, and the resplendent wild life abounding. Be sure to bring your fishing pole, but leave your worries behind!
Been coming up here for ten years, always a blast!
