Ryan and Liz are absolutely wonderful! Easy to work with, very responsive and so nice! We fully enjoyed our week long stay. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Our cabin was clean and had everything we needed (dishes, pots and pans). There were tons of things for my kids to do! Pool, great beach, play set, and lots of fabulous ice cream! The staff were all so friendly and kind. We definitely felt at home here and can't wait to make this a yearly tradition. Highly recommend!!

This was our first visit to Half Moon Trail Resort. My family of 15 rented 2 cabins. We had a wonderful time. The hosts are welcoming and the other guests were also friendly and awesome. The landscaping is beautiful and everything is very well maintained. We are planning to go again next year.

This was our 2nd yr. at half moon in beautiful 6 bedroom cabin 19. The grounds are meticulously kept and beautiful with lots of flowers. The heated pool and large playground are a big hit as well as the many varieties of ice cream. What I like is that the prices are very reasonable on their clothing and food, some resorts like to gouge their guests but not halfmoon. Awesome owners make you feel at home. They host many activities for young and old.

We had a last minute change in our travel plans and happened upon Half Moon Trail Resort as an option for our family of 9. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating when we made the reservation only days before arriving. We stayed in cabin 19 and were surprised at how perfect it really was for us. Everything in the cabin was meticulously clean, organized with great thought for larger groups, and just beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous, and the lakeside views are stunning. (Mornings were an especially lovely time by the water, spent lounging in an adirondack with cup of coffee from the lodge and a good book.) My children, ages 6 to 17, all enjoyed the different things offered at the resort...the oldest really loved carpetball, and the youngest loved the playground. Swimming and fishing were great, and evening bonfires were fantastic. The owners are lovely people, who seemed to bend over backwards to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We had forgotten a few food items, and were pleased to be able to buy some things at the lodge. (i.e. ketchup, local eggs.) Not that it is a big factor in what resort is chosen...but their attire is terrific! My kids all purchased sweatshirts and they truly are the best quality for a reasonable price.nnWe are so thankful for a wonderful time had at this resort.
