“I had an excellent experience with M&A ROOFING. Our salesman MIKE was great and easy to work with returning all calls and answering any questions. The roof, and cleanup were done in two and half days. Even the dumpster was removed. Everyone was polite and professional. We would definitely recommend this company and definitely work with them in the future. Thank you

If I could give them zero stars I would! This has been the most UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever dealt with in my life! No one ever answers the phone in the office and it takes forever to respond to voicemails! My experience has been HELL from the beginning! Gerald came out to give me a quote as my roof had started leaking. He was very pleasant and the quote was great! He stated it would take about 2 weeks to get someone out to do the job. Fine. 2 weeks pass so I called to find out what was going on. They informed me someone would be there the following week to start. They would deliver the materials Tuesday and start Wednesday. Wednesday came and nothing. I contacted the office and they said oh it supposed to rain (never rained) they will be there Friday or Saturday for sure... Saturday came and NOTHING! No updates or anything. Of course no one in the office ever answers so I called Gerald to see what was going on. He then told me”since you live in Detroit none of the roofers want to do your job! They’re scared to come to Detroit!” (A little racially stereotypical if you ask me! Every area in Detroit is not bad! But you narrowed minded individuals would know that if you would do your job or simply ASK QUESTIONS) Well why the hell was I not informed of that in the beginning instead of waiting for a month to get the job done! Why keep giving me the run around when you knew all along none of your workers wanted to step foot in Detroit?!? So I haven’t been able to park in my driveway due to the dumpster for a week now because you wouldn’t be upfront and honest with me! I was thinking the reviews I saw on here were just one off but now I know to trust them! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They’re extremely unprofessional! I’m am trying to cancel services with them now and for them to come get the materials that has been sitting on my roof for a week now and this dumpster so I can finally use my driveway again!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is going to be long...nnI hired them for two services. The first was the siding for my entire house. Up until the contract was signed, the salesperson Gerald was great. He went above and beyond to get me samples and worked with me as I kept going back and forth on colors.nnI wanted to order windows at the same time, but Gerald didn’t have the right paperwork with him so he told me to wait till he came out again to go through the final inspection. He gave me a quote of $500/ window since I did the big siding job.nnThe installation went pretty good, the guys that were contracted out did a pretty good job (some spots were done halfway) but overall, it was fine. Then Gerald came out to do the final walk through and did the contract for the windows. He did a quick measurement of the windows and wrote up the contract and took my deposit.nnHe then said it was $550/window. Not a big difference, but enough to be annoying and make me feel like he was taking advantage of me. I called him out on it and he said he was done with me and I can deal with the office. Thankfully he texted all of this so I have the proof of how unprofessional he was.nnMaybe 8 weeks later, I called the office to see when the windows would be in, since they haven’t even measured yet. The woman who answered said that someone measured them already. I asked when and she said that they did it from the outside of the house. That seemed odd to me but she said it’s how they do it and the windows will be in soon.nnFew more weeks later, I called again to check in and she said they were on order. Few weeks again, I called, and they finally set up the appointment. The windows get delivered and the installation guys arrive. Guess what? Wrong size windows ordered. Turns out they never sent anyone out to measure like they told me, and when I called, they realized it and they used the very incorrect measurements that Gerald took, even though the contract states that it was an estimate and professionals will be out to measure correctly.nnSo I call again and they say that the new windows will be ordered to fix their mistake. Few more weeks go by, and I check in again, and they said they windows were in but nobody called me. By this point, it has now been months. Anyways, they come with the new windows and guess what? Wrong color this time. The original contract and the first set of windows were the right color, but this second set was white when it needed to be almond to match the window right next to it. And to top it off, the trim around the windows were damaged so I need to repaint. Not to mention that their caulking job is horrible too, so that looks like a job that I did myself, not a professional one.nnSo yet again, I call and they apologize, and say they are ordering another set. Then the owner has the installation guy call me and say that he didn’t want to pay to order more windows and would be it ok if they painted the window frame to match. Ummm, no! So they say they will order new windows again. That was in maybe early February, then COVID happened in March and it is now July and I haven’t heard a thing from them and I doubt I will.nnI would never ever recommend this company, to anyone, regardless of the price. I don’t know what kind of crooked people are running this place and what they think they can get away with, but I feel like my 8-year old is more organized than the people working there. I would have happily paid 2x as much to go with a reputable company, this place didn’t deserve my business at all. Stay far away, not worth the hassle or poor job that you’ll receive. Now I have to look at my miss-matched windows as a constant reminder of the poor decision I made to go with them.

M&A roofing installed a new roof and gutters at my house, they did a great job, I got three quotes for the job, Their salesman Gerald was the only guy that went on my roof and took pictures, that impressed me.
