This was me and my husbands first bed and breakfast experience and it was a wonderful time. They made us feel at home and very welcomed. Breakfast was made every morning and if you had a special request they would accommodate it. The rooms where beautiful and comfortable.nWe stayed in the Union room and the double jacuzzi tub was a special touch.nI highly recommend this place for a special couple get away.
Stayed over Valentines weekend and it was great! We stayed in Americana and had an awesome time. Loved the jetted bathtub and the fireplace. Very warm and cozy room. The breakfast in the morning was nice as well. Would recommend to friends and family for sure! Hope to stay again!
Our stay at Captain Lord Mansion was just incredible. The place is absolutely beautiful, location is perfect and it was super clean and so cozy. Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was to die for.........fruit/granola/yogurt to cranberry muffins to the most amazing blueberry pancakes along with smoked bacon. Superb! We will definitely be staying again on our next visit. Thank you for everything!
Fantastic long weekend before the pandemic shut all down. Superb location. Rooms were luxurious. And all the food, from the am full breakfast to the sweets left out at night was delicious.nn(Jan 2021 - business is closed as new owners renovate - opening planned in spring 2021)
This was our first time staying at a B&B, and we enjoyed our stay. The mansion was beautifully decorated and the gardens outside were also beautiful. Lynn checked us in and also gave us tips on things to do. She was lovely. Our room was very nice, and loved the heated marble floor in the bathroom. Breakfast both mornings was delicious! We also enjoyed the snacks laid out each afternoon and evening in the kitchen. The location was perfect, close enough to walk into town, and short drive to the beaches and Walker’s Point. Overall a wonderful mini getaway for my husband and I, and would definitely stay again
