We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful evening and a perfectly cooked meal while celebrating my husband's retirement on 7/2/20! We had not been to the restaurant for quite some time and found the quality continues to be top notch! Cannot wait to return!
Wonderful atmosphere and even better food. Kawanhee Inn is what you dream of when you think of a Summer in Maine. The scallops and onion rings were an exceptional starter to a succulent meal of lobster ravioli that was perfectly balanced and to complete this outing was a fantastic chai creme brulee. The blood orange marg had to be one of the best I've had. Highly recommend all of this.
Never, have I ever, been treated so rudely.
Very nice place. Love all the wood work, and the view from the back deck of the lake is great to relax for a couple beers. The food is pricey but well worth it. Everything I've tried was amazing so far. Great beers on tap as well, and the staff always seem to be in good moods.
