I had an overnight weekend stay. The pros were that the beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft. It was a nice space in terms of area to move around and have fun. The cons were the room didn't seem very clean. There were spots in the floors and on the couch. The water pressure in the smaller bedroom was very low and cold. And the bath mat was already wet before we go there. There were hardly any clean dishes and, although covid changed a lot of things, asking for salt and getting 10-12 packets in place of an empty salt shaker was disappointing. What was also disappointing was not finding out the breakfast was grab and go until check in. One of the perks of this hotel is the hit breakfast. I still have faith in Residence in but probably won't be back to this one.
Staff was great. The rooms could use some updating and deep cleaning. We were on the 3rd floor and there was a lingering odor of food and pot. The room had peeling paint on the bathroom door and a tub that wouldn't drain. The countertop and cupboards were sticky, almost like they were coated in grease. This chain usually provides a small bottle of dish soap, there was none except one packet of dishwasher powder. Carpets needed a good cleaning and felt sticky as well. Good in a pinch, not my favorite place to stay, especially for more than a night.
I stayed here one time. It was a little pricey compared to the cheaper hotels in the area. However, the room I had was very nice and I was surprised how nice it was. It had a couch and the room was very spacious. There was a table and a kitchen with cabinets, fridge, stove, and microwave. It was very clean. It had a grab and go breakfast. If you want a nicer hotel and room for a little more money then give this hotel a try.
Very nice place but now only 8 TV channels in my room. I don't stay here for the TV, but Fox News isn't here, and the liberal CNN is. No conservative news channel at all, not OAN, and not Newsmax either. Fox News was here last fall, what happened?
Not the greatest experience. I travel a lot and i know what to look for. But when you have kids knocking on doors at 7 and 8am, a non functioning bath tub, and although someone explained it not the best customer friendly staff its not somewhere i would stay again.
