Cliffside Guesthouse Mystic

This was our first experience staying in a private guest house. Ann was the perfect host. Only a short walk to downtown within a beautiful historic neighborhood. Very neat and clean and it had all the necessities, even a cozy little porch. Ann gave us tips of what to see and where to go and how to get around. Loved it. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We just returned from a stay here and have nothing but great things to say. First, the apartment is over a detached garage so it's both scenic and private, yet walking distance to downtown Mystic shops and restaurants. It is nearly new (I think we were the first to use the oven!) and is nicely furnished and immaculate. We prepared two breakfasts and had guests over for cocktails and found the kitchen well stocked for dining in and entertaining.nnAnne is very enthusiastic and happy to offer recommendations for dining and things to do. I highly recommend this property for singles or couples traveling to the area. It's a great value and a much more authentic New England experience than staying in any of the nearby chain hotels.
