Holiday Inn Express Winfield - Teays Valley

My room was very clean and comfortable... We went here for some time away and relax a little. On your website it says pool and hot tub...but no hot tub was there!ud83dude14 was looking forward to the kids playing in the pool and I could relax in the hot tub but it didn't happen. There was also green moss growing on the floor around the pool area. You should definitely take that advertising off the website!

We have a family member who works here and we got to stay before which included a small discount.nnWe had the best time here!! The beds were super soft and so comfortable! My kids had so much fun in the pool. This hotel is amazing, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is super friendly! If we could afford to stay every weekend than we would! Comfortable and cozy beds! Loved the roominess and the overall set up of the room! Two tvs that tilted and allowed each room section to watch their own show. Come here for an overnight stay with lovely staff to boot!

Clean rooms, friendly at Check in. Ed was soft but comfortable. Close to the freeway and lots of shops and restaurants. Don’t buy anything at the front desk, they have pop and candy bars, chips and essentials. But the price is ridiculous. I bought an ice tea and kitkat cost was $5. Just drive across the road to the store or walk next door to the gas station. Other than that place was nice.

Highly recommend this hotel! There were many Pros outweighing the cons.nnPros...nGreat customer service... Lisa at the front desk was very kind, helpful and provided exemplary service!nVery clean. Hand sanitizer available everywhere. Covid procedures best I have seen. Pool and fitness center are open for use on a scheduled basis. We booked a half hour in the am and an hour in the afternoon. Only our party had access during that time and they were sanitizing between guests while we waited briefly for our afternoon time.nRooms been clearly renovated and the bed/bedding incredibly comfortable. Very close to a five star hotel comfort level when it came to nights sleep. Bathroom was fully stocked and shower had large size quality soap, shampoo, conditioner provided.nCoffee supplied in room via a Keurig, microwave, and a larger than mini fridge in room. Complimentary breakfast was ready at 6 am and the coffee was great and while everything is packaged I was surprised at the variety of options (muffins, danishes, sausage biscuits, cereal, yogurts, oatmeals all in various flavor options. Fruit cups, milk, juices, coffee, variety of teas..)nPool is heated and saltwater. Very clean.nnCons...nPool towels were barely larger than a hand towel. Could not use for more than a hair wrap.nThe bathroom in our room had a terrible musty smell.nSink and tub in our bathroom, while new, both did not plug closed. Sink super slow to drain.Toilet seat very loose.nnOverall this is one hotel we will absolutely recommend and look forward to returning to.
