Everything was good except when it was almost time for checkout, I asked for late check out and they gave us until 11:30 which was great. Until one of the housekeepers called our room and ask “are you gonna leave yet or are you going to stay another night” mind you it was barely 10:00 o’clock. She called the room because she saw me looking out the window waiting for our ride. But other than that our stay was good.

There were several good things about this Motel 6 room by the Amarillo Airport but a few ones I didn't like.nnIt seemed a little cramped in the room; too much furniture. The towels were thin. It just came off a little scruffy, compared to the Motel 6 farther east down the highway. The ice machine was in the office, which was too far from our room. And the employee didn't have any buckets so I had to carry the ice in our car to the room in a tiny bag like I was in a water balloon contest.nnIt was quiet though! I have to give it that. The TV was huge and high def. Judging by the cars in the lot (sorry but cars say volumes about people), the clientele were regular working or traveling folk.nnIn summary, it is what I'd expect from a motel near an airport.

It’s hard to find a decent place that allows large dogs. On my trip from SC to CA I can say this was certainly the best one! I wish all Motel 6s were this way! The woman at the front was as nice as she could be and recommended we eat at the big Texan, which was also great and close by. Will stop back here on my way back home! Thanks again!

This was the best motel I have ever stayed! Room was nice and clean, a lot of space, super comfortable king bed and good pillows. Check in was the fastest and easiest ever. Place was super quiet, we had good night sleep. Felt very happy staying here.
