I found this place last minute as I was driving though TX and stayed bc of the price. The friendly staff let me check the room first. Yes.. it's not the nicest place, I wore my flip flops inside. But the bed was clean, car parked outside the door, and all I needed was a place to sleep. If you want a 3 or 4 star hotel go to those. This is budget friendly, and thank goodness for it.
I have stayed in the remodeled, non-smoking rooms and was pleased for the price.nThe staff was helpful and friendly, and the room clean and open.nBest 37 dollar motel in Amarillo.
Poor conditions of the rooms. Burnt bedding. Cigarette butts in the room. Vomit outside the door. Drug deals going on in the room next to us. Ceiling tiles hanging off the ceiling. Rooms smelled of cigarettes. Terrible stay. Checked in went to dinner then went to the rooms. Checked out once I found rooms suitable for a family. Not for truckers to take hookers
Outside looks great.. But the rooms tell a different story.. Beds, Bathroom sink and even the toilet were low to ground. Not good for handicap folk. Smelled of cigarettes down the halls. Outside wantto clean either. I will not return.
Stayed here a couple of nites. It is clean and friendly. It fit my budget. So as long as it is clean and free of bugs, I was happy. If your budget is low like mine, this is the place to go. I thought it was located good for my needs. It didn't take long to get anywhere I needed to get to.
