For the price, I'll be honest I was pleasantly surprised! I got a fantastic deal so I wasn't expecting much, but the rooms were very clean. You can tell they are in the process of updating everything because initially I parked on the side they were working on and I was a little nervous because the doors all had paint scraped off and it looked rough. But once I checked in they put me on the other side which was clean and well lit. It's nothing fancy, but I felt safe and comfortable and the staff was very friendly so I would definitely stay again.
10 out of 10. Stopped here on a road trip helping my best friend move from Arkansas to Colorado. We got hammered at Mexican restaurant within walking distance then went to the Taco Bell. My friend Laura threw a bean burrito at the tv in the room. Then we walked to the Denny's. Everything you need within walking distance. This place is a destination not just a place to sleep.
So far the stay has been wonderful. Staff both front desk and cleaning staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. Only problem was with the bathroom shower. It was hard to figure out the handles. But I still will give this establishment 5 stars because in a moment of crisis they were there for me. With the situation Texas is in they took care of us. Thank you very much La Quinta Inn!
This isn't our first stay there, the room was excellent, clean & spacious. Easy on and off the highway and there is a Dennys next door. I'm giving a 4 star on service due to check-in. The clerk was talking to fast and not really listening. She was trying to move ya along so she could get to the next person. Overall it's a 5 star rating.
The hotel pictures that I booked on was not what we got. Stains in the bedding bathroom was gross. We cleaned the shower head to get a decent shower. Drains need to be cleaned out. Our refrigerator had food in it. We went down to have breakfast about 20 minutes to 8 and there was no breakfast
