Best Western Swiss Clock Inn

We were greeted by a very friendly girl at the front desk. She answered all our questions, gave us recommendations for places to eat and recommendations off the menu at the Alpine Restaurant.nOur room was clean and comfy! When I requested additional pillows they were delivered with a smile.nThe room had plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The coffee bar was stocked, the fridge and microwave were nice additions to our stay.nThe grounds were exceptionally clean and well maintained!nIf we ever travel back thru Pecos we will be sure to stay here again!! Thank you!!

Clerk was very sweet and nice when I checked in. Rooms appear to be clean the beds are comfortable. The bathroom has what appears to be pubic hairs on the floor closest to the walls, and around the toilet, there was trash clogging the bathtub drain, labels off of bathroom items maaaayyybbbeeee ?!?!?! I don’t know I did not take the time to read what the labels said I just had to remove them so the plug could go down to make a bath for my grandson, there is still one in there BUT I am not digging it out, I just pushed hard enough for the plug to close. Parking spaces are large enough oh my huge truck. The only downside that I see (besides the bathroom not being cleaned properly) is being a woman there is no where at the bathroom sink to plug-in a tooth brush, hairdryer (A hairdryer is provided), curling iron or anything else that may need to be plugged in. I had to move the stand the microwave and refrigerator are on to access the plugs behind them and unplug the microwave so that I was able to plug in my flat iron, however, if your cord is not long enough you can only access a small portion of the mirror. We have stayed here several times through out the years and this is the first time our room has been not been cleaned properly. Will stay again, I just have to remember to bring an extension cord. I really like that the restarting is on location, the food is good.

NOT SAFE! Staff does not wear masks and refused to do so when I asked them to. They also allowed other guests to enter communal areas without masks. This suggests that Best Western does not enforce its COVID-19 policies.

The buffet here is amazing, its the first decent place that serves liquor, mixed drinks and cold beers with a delicious meal. I always have a good time and the food is awesome but when I went for lunch with some friends on Friday I had an awful bartender. She made awful faces and had a bad attitude. Back then the bartenders were great and there probably still are. But that bartender killed the vibe. She made it feel uncomfortable. But the food is the best in town.
