Very clean, friendly staff.
This has not been a good stay. The positive- The facility and rooms looked new and clean and it was close to shopping. The negative- First the room was mixed up then the next room had already been used once we entered so was switched again. Heard loud snoring late at the night, can hear clear conversations in next room, and hearing housekeeping so loud and clear early morning. Customer service has not been good. Hair was in the shower. Last but certainly not least was the Dogs barking all through the night and all morning! Will not be staying here again!
My family and I decided to stay at this hotel based off of the reviews for a quick weekend get away and I was very disappointed. Don’t get me wrong the staff was amazing and the check in process took a little bit longer than I expected Nevertheless when I got my two rooms I was very disappointed. One of my rooms was not clean at all. When I opened the closet, It had old trash. It had to be there for a while because it smelled so bad. The bathroom I had hair in the tub but again is spring break weekend all the hotels are book so what are we to do. I have stayed at La Quinta before during Covid so we made the best of it. I was disappointed because I understand it’s Covid But why are we paying full rate that includes hot breakfast but yet we’re giving breakfast in a bag. Either discount the rate or have your staff explain it upon check-in. If you’re looking for a A place just to crash, then this is your hotel.
The rooms are ok, access to shopping. The front desk workers are worthless, they allowed a guest with a dog to bark none stop all night and early morning! If you can deal with those things this is the place for you. If you want good service, and helpful staff you will need to find a new hotel.
Nice place, clean rooms. Terrible water pressure in the shower and the Google maps location shows up in Hempstead, not Cypress. Very unhappy about that part as the job site I am supposed to be on is in Hempstead early in the morning, but I'll manage.
