Hotel service was superb, as was the condition of the room and amenities. However, we did experience an issue with the Valet Parking. Following departure, we noticed that the vehicles key fob was damaged while in the Hotel's possession. Spoke with Valet Manager; unfortunately nothing was resolved. Would like to settle this in a professional manner. We were unable to get in touch with another manager on site. If possible, please comment below with a name and telephone number of someone that can assist with this matter. Thank you.

Beautiful decor. Bed was super comfortable and I slept so well. Shower is huge and loooooved the shampoo and conditioner. My hair gets super frizzy with hotel shampoo but not theirs!! Front desk staff was super nice and loved snack and coffee times they had. They even delivered a complimentary sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries to our room while we were exploring the city! I will definitely use hotel zaza again when I'm in Austin!

I was visiting my daughter the weekend of the Austin polar vortex. Fortunately we were at Hotel Zara as we had to extend our stay through the week because of weather. As luck had it they were one of the only hotels whose restaurants remained open through most of it and when they finally had to close they offered us breakfast tacos and sandwiches for lunch. If I was going to be stuck somewhere, I can’t think of a better place to be stuck! Their customer service and communication amongst its guests was superb! I watched as they took in locals with their dogs, children and belongings and worked around the clock with a skeleton staff as most of the employees couldn’t get home either. I’m sure the staff was exhausted but they continued to serve and go above and beyond for their guests. On my next visit to Austin, I’ll be staying at Hotel Zara!!! Thank you for keeping us warm and fed!

My wife and I booked a room at the Zaza and enjoyed the amenities (pool + restaurant). However I was a bit put off by the parking staff, or lack thereof. We checked in on a slow day and there were 5 gentlemen just standing around, not even taking notice of our arrival. When they did, they acted as if I was just some random person, even though I mentioned several times that I was checking into the hotel. I drive a rather large and fast SUV so I let them know to be easy on the peddle. What do they do? Hop in, throw the key in storage plate near cup holder and gun it. Very embarrassing behavior for an alleged 4 star hotel. If you're a local, take an Uber. If not, make arrangements to park in a garage nearby.
