Housekeeper attempted to walk into my room before I had even checked out. She DID NOT knock or give any indication of who she was before entering my room. If I hadn't put the safty bar on the door before taking my shower she would have walked in on me changing. Housekeeper is also not wearing a mask! They require it of their guest but not the staff? Front desk attendants will only pull theirs on when a guest approaches the desk. The phone in the room didn't work so I couldn't even call the front desk about the incident and had to go down instead. I've always had a good experience with Microtel, but do not suggest staying at this location!!!
8:30PM- been calling for an hour and no one picks up.
Very quiet place.. I had no trouble for the 4 years that i have been coming here ..good breakfast and big dining to choose your seat ...RECOMMENDED! Great location too
Definitely Micro. The room was very clean, the service was great. No complaints here.
Under new ownership, upon arrival hidden deposits in which the owner overrides. Greatly appreciated that. We have been going there for three years numerous times throughout summer. My daughter got sick off soured pancake mix which my husband told the gentleman. He tasted it and made some more that came out runny. Linens were stained,access door from the building to the pool was broke. So once you walked out you were locked out and had to walk around to the front ,I kept propping the door open. The lady at the front desk, Tammy went above and beyond to make your stay great starting with her smiling face and greeting at check in. If your looking for a budget friendly off the beaten path of Austin this place is it. Unfortunately we will part ways and find another home for our visits to Barton Springs in the summer. To top it off they blocked off the room for ice and vending for a private baby shower. The guy at the front desk needs to go,not hospitable and inviting.
