It's a straight 27 minute shot to corpus christi right off the highway, really nice rooms, everyone is really nice. Wasn't able to get breakfast due to covid restrictions but it's understandable. Really happy with my stay

We had stayed here a few years back and it was great. My husband was just released from the hospital (he has a critical lung condition) and we wanted a quiet place to stay a few nights. Booked our reservations online, arrived to check in the next day. All was going well until we opened the door to the room and a blast of heat hit us. Needless to say we cranked up the ac but that was going to take awhile. In the meantime I look over to the bed and a silverfish was running across the bed. We decided to sit in the car while the room cooled down it was then I noticed all these dead bugs all over the floor. When we got back in the vehicle I mentioned it to my husband. I went back to the office asked if they checked rooms before customers arrived and turned on the air being south Texas it was a stifling day. No answer. I asked if there was another room available and there was not. Proceeded to check out and was told that since I made reservation online on their site that they would have to call the manager to approve. It was approved. They offered no apologies no sorry....nothing. Wow what is this world coming to so sad. Won't be coming back.
Woken up from bedbug bites at 2 am. Didn't know they were bedbugs at the time since we turned on the lights and didn't see anything. Went back to bed and woke up again, this time bugs were noticed. Informed the manager and he sent us to the room next door. Asked for a refund,but not given. Was told the housekeeping reported no bed bugs during inspection.
