2/19/21 1900nAs we walked into the location The customers at the counter were not wearing masks. There are multiple signs posted on the outside and the inside and directly at the counter on the glass at the counter.nAs we are standing in line another customer walked in with not mask I mentioned about putting a mask on and he said I don’t even have a mask, and made a comment about if I have a mask I could provide him. I responded last I checked it was not my responsibility to provide you a mask and where have you been the past 12 months....nwe had a reservation issue so we had to go back out to the car and wait. When we came back in, the same customer was processing his check in... with no mask.... this location is total joke and unfortunately we are stuck because we need a pet friendly room.... the attendant is also lack luster and dose not seem to give a care about the stater requirements to wear a mask in public areas.nLa Quinta Inn and Suites here in Beaumont TX by I10 is not worth your time if you have other options....nalso prices online do mot match in person prices....ntotal BS all around...nnUpdate, we ended up canceling our stay over all the issues.nNot worth our health.nWe went to The Holiday inn just up the road and 100% better quality. And Pet Friendly. Win win win and same pricing.
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Animal fee is very reasonable. Rooms need to be pet proofed more though. There's a space at the end of the beds that's big enough for a cat to crawl up under and there's nothing you can do to get them out beside take the whole mattress and box spring off the base because the base goes all the way to the floor. Was afraid I would be able to get my animal out from under there when I went to leave.
The receptionist was great! But when booking the room I wasn't aware there would be a pet fee. It want an issue but would have been nice to know. The room was nice but had a urine smell coming from the carpet. Mind you, we were in Beaumont, TX and it's humid there so the smell was very noticable. For a one night stay it wasn't bad.
The stay was good and all of the employees were great. We will stay there again especially because they alow pets. We were there for 4 days because of the power outage at our home. My wife is on oxygen and the oxygen concentrator requires a 110 outlet. La Quinta never lost power, thank you Jesus.
Easy access from the freeway. Pet friendly. Very friendly clerk. Remodeled rooms. Restaurants close by, but familiar restaurant chains, and shopping, and tire shops are 8 minutes on the freeway from the hotel. Nice hotel. No complaints.
