is there any way to give negative stars that was the worst hotel experience in my entire life I was a hotel manager for la Quinta as well as Hilton for 10 years these people treat you like dirt. From the moment of checking we were judged. within an hour of being at the property which is practically destroyed by the way I can't Believe it's Not condemned the upstairs hallways are falling apart it looks as if you're going to fall through cracks there were needles at the door before I walked into the door they want to refuse to give a refund I got yelled at by the night service front desk person then I got attacked by the morning manager because I was sitting in my car having a conversation with my partner this is not the proper way to do business and I hope that something is done about this piss poor property

My stay at Merit Inn and Suites in Beaumont TX was great 2 years ago, however I recently went back for a visit. I called the hotel to see if they had a room for the night, the man who answered the phone was very rude. Telling me, NO! we don't have any rooms. So I called Super 8 the lady was eager to find a room. She found a room very quickly so I stayed there.

NEVER!!!! Made reservation two weeks ago for 85 year old uncle traveling to meet local author to complete biography. Serve weather and flood alert made it impossible to travel. Contacted hotel, not only did LOUIS refuse cancellation, he tried to guilt trip me about turning down evacuees and homeless because my booking had the room blocked. Then he immediately charged my credit card and blocked me from reviewing on Hotels.com Google don't play that!!! Avoid this place like COVID 19 and pray for LOUIS, cause he should be fired!!!

Staff was VERY nice anytime i encountered them , room was nice and the beds were comfortablenThe Showers were nice but the latch that kept them closed was broken so if you leaned on it the door would open but overall the bathrooms are nice Definitely a nice place to stay due to power outages across Beaumont
