Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas Northeast - Arboretum

When I called to inquire about rooms I didn’t care for their tone of voice Based on their photos I asked if they only had showers or if they had bath tubs (no water in apt due to winter storm) so I was in need of a nice hot bath, someone abruptly stated “Showers!”. I also asked if they allowed pets and was told they do not even though I saw at least two guests with pets upon my arrival. However, upon my arrival much to my dismay my experience was amazing and exceeded my expectations. They were so friendly and accommodating, very personable staff. The room was nice and clean and there was indeed a bath tub inside. My kiddos were able to use the amenities and enjoy the warm climate indoor pool in this cold weather after we checked in. We had a great night and I would definitely recommend and stay here again if necessary thanks guys for making us comfortable in your hotel during these trying times.

I've been a guest at this hotel since the doors opened. It has become a dismal place to stay. We arrived to a crowded lobby and a desk clerk who was confused about how to check in a guest that didn't have a confirmation number. Only one of the two elevators was functional. Upon entering our room we discovered there were no towels and the room was not very clean. I tried to telephone the front desk but the phone didn't work. Further investigation revealed the cord had been ripped out of the wall. A trip to the front desk was in vain as the clerk was working the desk alone on a Friday night to a sold out house. No towels! After an hour or so we did get the bare essentials. When we turned down the bed we found the sheets had not been changed. We went to the front desk to complain and the clerk gave us linen so we could change the sheets our selves. After a long next day we returned and again asked for towels. We were told all the rooms had been resupplied with towels and there were non more to be had in the hotel. You guessed it: There were no fresh towels in the our room. With homeless people loitering nearby and and people of questionable character sitting around the parking lot there is no way I'd ever stay at this hotel again. We checked out on day two of our three day stay. The next night's lodging was quite pleasant as the venue had changed.

After seeing reviews, I expected a much better experience. The area is very shady. There were constantly creepy men sitting in the parking lot for no apparent reason. The hotel was nice enough; however, nothing was fully stocked. The indoor pool was nice; however, there were never clean towels. The breakfast was ok, but the coffee was empty. When we asked for some we were brought 2 cups FULL of grounds. Overall we were disappointed because of the location. The manager, Dales, was very friendly but the rest of the staff was very rude.

This was a disappointment. Let me see where to start. Lady at front desk wasn't prepared for anything. It was cold no coffee to offer. Fine we brought our own. No towels they only had pool towels bummer ud83dudc4e .. shame shame. I can't wait to see what happens in the morning. 12/3/20

Had two small issues, the staff took care of very quickly. Staff were very friendly and polite. The room was nice and spotless.
