I've stayed here many times because of the peaceful and well maintained atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the staff is remarkable. I've never known a hotel staff to actually care about their guests. They are so helpful in fulfilling accommodations and special requests and assure security for the safety of their guests. They always have for me and I am grateful. It's totally worth staying there. They keep the rift-raft out making it a pleasant quiet stay.
Was looking forward to the Venetian Hotel for months. Told by friend that it was the nicest in San Antonio. Check in went fine but did not expect to go on a 15 min hike to find the room. We were not put in the tower requested. Had people in our party with back and foot issues. Spent most of our time in the hotel trying to find our way around. Decor, bathroom and beds were nice but the room had a odour that triggered one of our parties allergies. There was a strong smell of smoke in the hallways and the restaurants on Casino level.
Good customer service and the room was very neat. The only issue we had was with the restroom door, it was a bit tricky to close without hurting your toes. You have to go into a corner inside the restroom around the toilet bowl to close the door without hurting your toes. Apart from that we had a great stay in there during our visit to SeaWorld.
I wish somebody would have told me DO NOT PAY MONEY TO STAY in a cigarette smelling disappointing hotel! The pictures are not at all the reality!!! I feel gross staying here! We are ending our trip earlier due to this hotel being trash! We wanted our kids to play in the arcade BUT it's a air hockey table and pac man ud83dude44 that's IT!
Daily room cleaning was suspended during our stay but I didn't mind. Hot breakfasts are not served but that too is understandable with restrictions and precautions in response to Covid. The staff is super nice. The location is relatively quiet and convenient to both Six Flags and Seaworld.
