Pleasantly surprised this place has exceeded my expectations. My room was actually clean EVERYWHERE!!! Building has been renovated so it looks different than the photo on google. Great price no need to book online walk-in pricing is terrific. I'm very happy to have stumbled on the Texas Inn!
We stayed for one night. Make certain you bring toiletries as they will only give you 2 bars of face and body soap, toilet paper and tissues. The shower does not allow you to use it as a bathtub. There is only one pillow provided for each person.nnI don't know if the hotel recently changed management, but our door handles (the inside handle to front door and the bathroom door) were broken. And the toilet ran periodically all day. Finally, the TV volume doesn't get very loud.nnThey are adamant about the no smoking no pet policy. The female receptionist is nice. And they have coffee and juice (and have lost breakfast-like every other hotel during Covid).
I paid for a room for my uncle and grandmother. Both disabled and in wheelchairs. Our room was on the second floor. No elevator. Just stairs. I told the lady i could not take them up the stairs. I wanted a refund. They refused.
Over PRICED!!!!! Need to be ashamed!!!! Plus I had to wait 15 mins just to get a room and I had my 10 month old son with me. And I asked could he please give me a room upstairs. He rudely said No.. and the parking was horrible.. construction took up parking!!!!!
Very nice place to stay while your on the road.
