The ONLY reason why I am even giving this place one star is because the lady at the desk was friendly and helped me the best she could. The curtains were STAINED, along with the lamps and the top of the rolling chair. The wallpaper was PEELING OFF. It didn't even smell clean in the room. I failed to even mention that this room I am describing now is the SECOND room we were placed in as the first room also did not meet our expectations. (There was a dingy, old smell). NOT AT ALL WORTH THE MONEY SAVE YOUR TIME AND BOOK ELSEWHERE.

After pulling a 14 hour night shift as a nurse and due to extremely poor and dangerous winter weather conditions I was unable to make my drive home. I spoke with the hotel regarding my predicament and explained I would need to check in that morning to rest. The clerk verbalized it would be no problem, my room was reserved for two nights and an early check in would be feasible. After navigating through hazardous winter roads I arrived at the front desk to a new clerk from a shift change. She informed me there was no way I would be able to check in early. I explained to her I had just been on the phone with the previous clerk who assured me I would immediately be able to check in that morning to rest. She was rude and cold and informed me there were others who were in my same situation and nothing she could do about it. No attempt was made to listen to my plea and she denied a manager was in. Not one time did she offer to move up my check-in or provide me with a time frame. I left exhausted and unsure of my next move. Thanks to the wonder lady at the Best Western down the road I was able to check in early and get some rest. The Courtyard by Marriott displayed terrible customer service and poor management and they will no longer receive my business.

I had an awesome experience here and it is next to the ud83dudee3 highway; however, you have to go make a U-turn at the traffic light to get on the local road leading to it if coming from Houston area. I did not have any major issue with this place and I will recommend here.nnThe only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars is because the furniture cover was not presentable. I also think they need to use air freshener like other courtyard by Marriott I have been to.nThere is this particular cool and clean minty and nice smell you get from most Courtyard by Marriott. The room I stayed in did not have that cool smell and I think they should get that checked. The room smell was just okay but not that cool in my opinion.nnAside the furniture and more air freshener points I noted above, this hotel is a great place and I would recommend it.

Pay for your room online, its cheaper. If you want in and book a room its $130 and they hold $20 until you checkout. I just checked out. I was told when I checked in that to book was $99 plus taxes i checked out and got a receipt and the room was only $89 but they charged me $130. When I asked why I was charged so much they had no answer, the lady only told me it would all roll off and back to my card, oh and it could take up to 15 days!!!!nMe and my husband just needed to get away. It is a nice hotel, but I’ve never been to a hotel where I had to pay for breakfast. Not only that but you only get to choose out of 3 things on the menu and none of it was really what I wanted, if I’m going to be paying for my breakfast it might as well be for something that I actually want to eat. The rooms are hella expensive to not be given a free breakfast. I had planned on actually staying until check out but once I found out that they charge for breakfast, I changed my mind.nnAll in all it was nice to get away, but the courtyard by Marriott was definitely NOT WORTH IT. We won’t be coming back.
