Drury Plaza Hotel Nashville Franklin

Stopped on our way to the beach. The 2-room queen suite suited our family of 5. The evening happy hour was well-organized, serving pulled pork, salad, baked beans, and cooked vegetables. Hot Breakfast was equally good. The kids enjoyed the pool. Everything was clean and proper precautions were taken to ensure guest safety.

The pull out couch had popcorn kernels all over it, and the carpet had plenty of stains. The bathroom was nice, although the shower only had an inside curtain. The breakfast didn’t have a lot of options compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in. The pool looked nice, however it was super crowded and there were lots of kids in both the pool and hot tub. The convenience shop had barely any options, and I couldn’t find a vending machine anywhere. We only stayed here because we needed a pet friendly hotel, and we’re staying here again in a week on our way back from vacation, so hopefully this was just a fluke.

This hotel is very nice and large! Comfy and clean. The pool is great. They have a superb continental breakfast and happy hour. This is our favorite pit stop when driving from Wisconsin to Alabama and back.nnOnly negative is the attached restaurant Granite City Brewery. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times across a three year span. Back in 2018 / 2019 this restaurant was superb! Great steak, steak salad, burgers, and beers. Most recently in December 2020 everything we ordered was pure trash. Kids meals, appetizers, wrap, soup, and steak salad was all straight up horrible.

Hotel was nice, and the staff was nice.nnFood (both the free breakfast and free kickback hour)was decent but never really warm..barely edible. My daughter still got a partially frozen potato. Coffee was super weak.nnThe beds were very uncomfortable. If anyone moved, they wobble like the springs were jacked up in them.(double queen room both beds were the same) Couldn't even move your leg without moving the whole bed. We neded up requesting a fold up bed so my child could sleep there so could get some sleep. The night before was miserable with him moving all night and bed wobbling all over.nnPool was open half in and half outside. However the second night of our stay, it was over the capacity of 60. Very crowded

Comfortable, quiet, clean! Room came with dinner, drinks, and plenty of breakfast options. I've never stayed at a Drury hotel, but I will again. Kids loved the pool and staff even walked through the pool area a few times to make sure there were no needs. I was worried we would be kept up by a traveling team staying at the hotel, but by 10:30 all was quiet.
