Childress House BNB

My wife and I spent a weekend with our Son and the three of us stayed in Daddy's house. The charm and decor were enough to make the stay very enjoyable, but the reception we received was more like a stay with friends. We plan more visits with Sandy and her wonderful home.

Sandi's home has become our home away from home. She is the best hostess ever and is gracious enough to sample whatever I cook when we visit. Thanks Sandi for being a great friend and making our mini vacations the best ever. We love you.

We stayed at the Childress House BNB for two nights as we were exploring the area for a possible move south. Sandi was an incredibly gracious host. The air conditioning was not working properly, and she was right on it. In fact, the repairman was there until 11pm to get it fixed. I was sitting out on the porch and she brought me some sweet tea. The rooms are tastefully decorated... so much history to enjoy. The location is fantastic..within walking distance to the downtown square. We highly recommend the Childress House to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay conveniently located to downtown.

Old world charm and elegance in a beautiful antebellum mansion at a very reasonable price. We love staying there. Sandy is an excellent and charming hostess.
