Comfort Suites Kodak Sevierville

Do not stay here. I have been a Choice Hotels member for years now and normally love the Comfortable Suites buildings, but this one was a huge exception. My family and I stayed for 6 nights and only half of them was pleasant. The first issue was when house keeping removed our towels without replacing them and when I brought this to their attention they told me they were out of towels. How do you not have towels for your guest? The next morning the manager was kind enough to bring us everything we needed. He was pretty much the only one who helped us out when we needed it. The next night someone parked in the handicap spot in back without a tag or mirror tag and was clearly walking just fine when we needed it for our daughter who was in a wheel chair. The next night the hotel’s desk clerk was very rude and acted like he couldn’t answer our questions and do his job at the same time. The breakfast was hot but very boring. You either had biscuits, eggs, and bacon, or biscuits, eggs, and sausage. To me that’s boring. Overall, I won’t stay here again if I can avoid it. I wasn’t impressed at all. I hate to even say all of this because the manager was great, but he was the only good part of this.

We only stayed 1 night but I would come back. Room was comfortable and clean. They have a inside pool. The breakfast was hot and tasted good. The had eggs, sausage and biscuits. The also had bagels, muffins and cereal. For drinks they have the usual juices and coffee.

I travel for work a lot. Always stay local to support the local economy. I am quite surprised that Choice Hotels has allowed this location to keep the Comfort Suites name. Needs a serious upgrade to battered furnishings and general wear and tear. Not dirty, just not up to the usual standard for this brand. If you are visiting the area, lots of nice and affordable places close by. Pass this one up unless you need easy access to the interstate.

When we arrived and I entered the room I noticed that the room had not been vacuumed. There was dirt, rocks, previous visitors mask and other trash. I notified the front desk and they sent a guy with a vacuum he vacuumed the room with us in the room. I discovered after that, the bathroom was dirty with hair from previous occupants. I didn’t bother to bring this to their attention we just cleaned ourselves. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if they can’t get a room clean and with pandemic conditions I don’t expect them to do anything else. Breakfast was annihilated and the kitchen was not able to keep up with the demand. The selection was slim and this was in the middle of the breakfast serving times. The customer service was poor like you bothered them if you asked for anything. If you need a hotel look around and avoid this one if possible

For the price, it’s a great value. My wife and I with our 4 children needed a place to stay until our cabin was ready. 2 beds and a sleeper sofa for $70 is the best deal in town. The indoor pool is super small, the gym is pretty lame but the breakfast is good.
