Pisgah Inn

Always delicious and the service was especially attentive. We appreciate the distance between tables and the new reservation system. We had a perfect date night!

My family lives in Asheville and we visit the restaurant many times a season and have always loved it. Every time we have family or friends in town we always say let’s go to Pisgah Inn for lunch or dinner and everything has always been wonderful. We made reservations for Easter Sunday and were on our way and got to the Parkway entrance and found out it was closed due to ice in some of the tunnels so we called the restaurant to say we were going to be late and see if we should still come or not and the very nice person we spoke to on the phone said we were not the only ones and we should come on and we would still be seated for lunch so we did and when we got there (and yes we were late) we went to the desk in the restaurant to say we were there and a lady ( who I found out later her name was Susan) said on no you are late and was very RUDE trying to say we would not be seated. I was nicely trying to explain to her that we had called and were told to come on and then she cut me off and said she would let the dining room manager handle it and he came over and was very nice and sat us right then with no problem. We would have totally understood if they had told us that they would not be able to honor our reservation when we called but we were told to come on. I just hope that Susan is not that rude to other guest that visit. My family will go back because we love it so much but will avoid her if possible.nnThank you to all the other staff that were so nice that day.nKim Rigsbee

Food is amazing! The BBQ pork, grilled chicken, salmon and dessert. VIEW is amazing and staff is very attentive.

We made lunch reservations for a weekday in August 2020. They had arranged the dining room to separate tables during the Covid-19 pandemic. All staff were appropriately considerate of customers.nnWe ordered the Pisgah Chicken Pot Pie with soup and salad and a cheeseburger with fries. Both were excellent! The salad was fresh. The chicken soup was nicely seasoned. The pot pie was amazing! It had a rich filling with plenty of chicken and vegetables, all covered with a light fluffy bread.nnThe handmade burger was larger than typical with a large bun. The hamburger was cooked perfectly to order. The fries were crispy, but not over cooked.nnWe splurged on a brownie that was over-the-top good. A fresh brownie with ice cream had chocolate and caramel sauces drizzled over it and was then smothered in real whipped cream. Definitely large enough to share!

Really cute retail shop. Yummy food in the restaurant, make sure you call foe reservations during COVID
