I have had the pleasure of staying at this home on two occasions, and I can't wait to go back. The house and its location are fantastic. We had loads of fun swimming, boating and floating in the lake, and there was plenty to keep us entertained inside the house as well. The layout of the house is perfect for a mix of adults and children and it is beautifully decorated. We had everything that we needed for a perfect getaway. I highly recommend a stay at the Bear Den Chatuge.
We stayed in mid September and even though it was a rainy weekend we had a wonderful stay at Bear Den Chatuge! The house is absolutely spotless and decorated very well. We felt very comfortable whether cooking in the well appointed kitchen or snuggling in before the fire to watch TV. The kids had a blast downstairs with all the games, ping pong table and were entertained for hours. Close to lots of things to do, eat and see. Would definitely recommend anyone stay here. Great for families or friends.
An amazing home with new everything! The home had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful view of the lake from the deck and the huge dock. We’ll be coming back!
We were fortunate enough to be the first family to rent this beautiful home. The owners went out of their way to be sure it was ready for us. The attention to detail and comfort of this home is amazing. The 2 master bedrooms and kids bunk room were perfect for the 2 families. The beds were so comfortable and all the porches and seating out by lake made a perfect place to grill out and relax on beautiful Lake Chatuge. The cove and the north east side of lake they are on located on is quiet and peaceful. We had such a great week for our annual cousins trip. I didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend!
One of the best family vacations we have ever had - fun and something for everyone! Gorgeous lake and mountains created an incredible backdrop while we enjoyed boating, swimming, fishing, and campfires! The home was exceptionally comfortable with plenty of spaces to lounge with our family and enjoy indoor games. Definitely booking again for next year - would recommend this rental to any family looking to enjoy time on the lake together!
