The host Tom was great. The food was wonderful. He was extremely helpful and made us feel at home. He even kayaked with me when my girlfriend didn't want to go! Will definitely go back. Thank you.

Blue Ridge Parkway is a beautiful drive to see sunrise and to enjoy the autumn. Near this famous parkway, there is a nice house with owner Christine and Tom who are wonderful hosts. My husband and I have an opportunity to spend the weekend in the mountain area and so fortunate we stayed in this air B&B. Christine and Tom are the most wonderful hosts who provide a warm environment for us. In their house, you will find beautifully decorated rooms and tables. Even the cabinet we stayed has an elegance in it. We did not have a chance to stay in the main house, but the cabinet has everything we need. In addition to bed, bed tables, desk, chairs, there is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is also an electronic fireplace to keep the cabinet warm. Christine is from France, and you can tell the decoration has a flavor of European country. Christine and Tom also provide breakfast for their guests. Christine bakes croissant herself and makes jam and yogurt herself. In addition to yogurt and bread, we had peach jam the first day and strawberry the following day. Christine and Tom also gave us croissants the second morning, which has pistachio feeling. These are the best breakfasts we had when travelling. There is also complimentary water, beer and candies provided by Christine and Tom. The formal breakfast provided if you stay in the main house should be even better. Tom provided us information about Blue Ridge Parkway attractions. Christine and Tom's hospitality (they give us a bottle of strawberry jam before we leave) and delicious breakfast will attract us to stay in this air B&B again when we visit this area in the summer. You will like Christine and Tom and you will not regret to spend a few nights in this place.

We found our stay at the River's Edge B&B main house to be exquisite in every way - the hospitality, the accommodations, the food. It was a wonderful place to get away. Thank you Tom and Christine.

The owners are absolutely wonderful and great to talk to. They bring French country to North Carolina in their decor and food. It's peaceful, quiet, rustic, quaint and charming and I plan to come back! Though out in the country, it is the perfect escape for anyone who wants a nice reprieve. They also have an adorable cat who likes getting to know the guests.
