Walmart Vision & Glasses

I have a clumsy son that seems to break his glasses alot, these nice ladies always take care of me. They are sweet and seem genuinely concerned about getting me taken care of. They do have made in usa frames. Customer service is a big one for me. These folks are top notch.

I brought my glasses in to get them fixed. The lens popped out and the lady working today her name was Stella. She had started to work on my glasses like it was no problem while standing in the doorway I made the comment just making conversation I needed to get some more glasses I can’t hardly see out of these anymore. She then asked me if they was still under warranty. I said I’m not sure then she asked me when did I buy them I said I’m not sure. She said because your going to have to get some new ones because I can’t fix these. After asking again and getting the same answer I went in to see the store manager. I told him she wouldn’t put the lens back in my glasses because they weren’t under warranty. He said I don’t understand why she would say that i said I don’t either. He called her and talked to her and came back out and told me it shouldn’t be no problem to get them fixed then came back out to where I was we both then walked down to the vision center where she was at. As we walked up she was telling the manager that she told me that she would try to fix them but couldn’t guarantee it because they may break. I told her that was not what she told me, she said I would have to get another pair because there not under warranty. She said that’s not what she said to me. I told her she was lying and that was neither here nor there. I just wanted my glasses fixed. She asked if I wanted to come watch her I told her I didn’t know what I was watching so she had the manager go in and watch her. When she brought the glasses back out to me the leg was bent worse then it was when i took them in to be fixed and the lens fell back out before I made it home. This happened at the Lucedale Walmart. I ended up taking the glasses to Walmart on Hey 49 in Hattiesburg. I was NOT satisfied with the way I was treated in Lucedale nor with the work done on my glasses and she also bent the frame itself that holds the lens in. My glasses were Not in this shape other then the lens needing to be put back in when I first brought them in to be fixed. I will not be back! And wouldn’t suggest anyone else take there glasses there unless someone besides Stella is working.
