This houseboat was nicely furnished, well lit, comfortable, and most importantly, easy to reach without walking far or actuallyeven on the boardwalk. Board and card games were available to use. And our 42' boat was able to dock on site so it was quite a short walk to the boat in the a.m. The only complaint I had, was that what seemed to be a sewage smell, would sometimes be prevalent after flushing a toilet.
I rarely post reviews, but I need to thank Bart, the owner, and Chef Richard for their personal assistance in coordinating with our group and the hospitality that they showed us this weekend. What a great weekend! We had a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with the best fishing anywhere, followed by a chance to relax, trade stories over an excellent meal and in the comfort of a first class lodge. Thanks! Kirk
Perfect location to stay for our Venice fishing trip. Richard was extremely welcoming not to mention a spectacular cook. Rooms were amazing, too. We will definitely come back next year!!!
The lodge is an amazing house boat! Richard is an amazing host and an excellent cook!
Food was good, portions could have been bigger tho, place was nice. The tv in my room would not turn on. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for the hunting trip.
