1st, this is a well used facilityn2nd, this is clearly a hotel that has been standing awhilenI will not complain about the room because it had original woodwork which is appreciated by some but not everyone. The room was clean, didn't smell, and there was plenty of open area for our dogs. Nothing was broken or in need of repair, which is typical of older hotels. I liked the charm and being in the state.

This was a last minute check-in for us after we had traveled 1000 miles with a toddler & a caged pet. Honestly we had no complaints the 3 days & 2 nights we ended up having to stay there before our apartment became available. The kitchenette may seem small, but it certainly is mighty & has everything you could think of needing for a longer term stay.

I recently stayed here as a product of a two day power outage. As a Marriott regular, I was not surprised at the high quality and cleanliness of the property. The staff was kind and helpful. In Bossier, there are very few places to stay I would recommend, but I would highly suggest anyone stay here if you are visiting the area. The rooms are spacious and helpful for long term travelers (fridge, burner, dishwasher, pots, pans, plates, and silverware), there is free breakfast and the WiFi is extremely fast (I only watched streaming on my iPad with zero issues).nnBeing an influencer and one of the top reviewers, I will be a tiny bit nitpicky that there were some dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. Also, my free night certificate was not applied (as I asked) and my points were used instead. However, this did not deteriorate from my stay and I would not hesitate to return. Another great example of why I prefer to stay with Marriott!nnUPDATE: Thank you to Chelsea Anderson for her help with the certificate! Love your quick response. We are planning a little birthday celebration this month and will definitely contact Marriott. Hope to meet you and/or the GM at our next stay to thank you in person! I travel with pugs! ud83dude0a

The employees were very friendly! We love the hospitality shown by the front desk and Tammy the breakfast chef. Enjoyed spending time during the Christmas holidays in Shreveport, Louisiana.

First, let me say, the staff in this hotel goes above and beyond for their guests. They are all so friendly, and always acknowledge you. The rooms and property are very well kept. Very clean and comfortable! Also, anything you could want or need is within a few minute drive in the area. Thanks for a great stay...we'll be back ☺
