We had originally planned to stay in Gardiner after a day of touring the park. There was no competition once we looked at this one. And even though it was another 90 min of driving it was so worth it. It was around 6 pm and we had multiple close up bison encounters, beautiful scenery, AND we saw wolves!!nWe were so happy when we walked into this darling, perfectly equipped, beautifully decorated cabin, with comfy bedding and a beautiful mountain view.nAnd the town is adorbs!nSuper close to get to Lamar Valley in the morning, but we wished we didn't have to go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Stopped by during a spontaneous September snow storm. This place could not have been more perfect. We stayed in Cabin 1 and its suuuuuper cozy. Got an amazing night sleep and it got to 18 outside. The heater is incredible, and the little kitchen provided my wife and i with a beautiful night of drinking Grand Teton, Idaho beer and eat those delicious burgers from the Log Cabin Cafe (best beef ive had in my entire life, ask them about it). We fell in love with Silver Gate, Montana last night, thank you!!!

This is THE spot to go to relieve stress and worry during Covid-19. Not because everyone there pretends that it is not a real concern, but because Silvergate Staff are concerned and act in a responsible way to keep everyone safe in a non-suffocating way. Chris the resort manager was very friendly and helpful. He and the staff were always aware of what we might need, and always had time to listen. The premises are well maintained, the general store requires masks and there is a partition between the check in staff and customers. The rooms were very cozy and clean. The furniture, linens and bathrooms are up to date and tasteful. HIGHLY recommend a few visits here throughout the season. So close to Yellowstone, great rivers, scenic highways and trails.

Cleat, Quiet little cabin. Very Rustic, but had what we needed. Enjoyed the fire pit out front in the evening (might want to bring supplies to get it started though!) It was nice to disconnect (no cell service and only very limited wifi at the little store) Super close to Yellowstone! Would stay again!
