Soda Butte Lodge

The food was good, but no one got what they ordered. Luckily no one had a problem with jalepeno's in / on their burger. There were four of us and the waitress walked back to the bar to get the drink we ordered in between each of our orders, and we waited for over a half hour for our check.nnLike I said, the food is good, but it's a real game of wheel of fortune in there.

Have made Soda Butte Lodge an annual stop on winter trips into Yellowstone. Have only had lunch here but it has always been good. The service was great, the beer cold, food was good and a great view of the mountains from the bar windows. I shall return!

Ate at the restaurant here today. Food was disgusting. The ketchup on the table was rancid. Fries were old and you can tell the oil doesnt get changed. Salad was shredded iceberg(probably for burgers), tomato, and croutons. Gross. But it was the only restaurant open.

Wife and I stayed for 2 nights for a snowmobile trip. I have stayed here before and it was great. It's is still a good place to stay, but we where a little disappointed with the restaurant , they where closed but we could food in the bar on the night we arrived, that was 100% ok and the food was decent . The reason I liked to stay here was you could roll out of bed and hit the restaurant for breakfast. Wife and I go down for breakfast and it's a ghost town, gate on restaurant is pulled down and it's dark and the doors to the bar where also closed. Other than this our stay was good, clean room and friendly staff.

If I could give this place a zero I would! Rooms are dirty, beds aren't level, service was non-existent, and the owners are dishonest. I forgot an expensive pair of pants with $60 cash in the pocket in the room when I checked out. Called several hours later when I realized I forgot them. Owner stated he would check the room and call me back, he never did. Spoke to the owner several times over the next several days and he just kept blowing me off, stating he would look and to call back later. He finally told me they never found the pants.nBUYER BEWARE!!
