Went up to Evanston to help a friend move, and this place was great. The place was quite, the beds comfortable & clean, and the water pressure in the showers was amazing which are pretty much all I look for in a place to stay.nnThat being said some of the electronics though are in need of a good update as I had some issues with the card not reading properly at times where it took me somewhere around 1-2 minutes of fiddling around with the card to get into my room on two separate occasions over a three day stay.

Rooms are overpriced. They put me in a bottom room with loud noisy people above me. When the whole hotel was empty. Weird right. Hot tub was warm not hot. Rooms were old and the bathroom tub had no plug. So much for a bath! They have no bottle water in the whole hotel and vending machines had sticker that said bottle for sale at front desk. Will never go back!!! Worst vibes ever.

Beds were very uncomfortable. One of the 2 room's I got didn't have a light bulb in the can light. No TV guide so you have to just channel surf until you find something. It snowed during our stay and they never even attempted to plow the parking lot or shovel the walks. My dad is handicapped and struggles walking on dry ground so needless to say I was a little upset at their lack of effort. We watched at least 4 vehicles end up stuck in their parking spot. The continental breakfast was also a let down. Most places have warm omelets instead of frozen and have some muffins or pastries of some sort. I can overlook a lot but the lack of clearing snow especially near the handicapped parking is horrible.

I am giving it 3 stars because they were nice to me after, over the phone. But when I went inside, I literally felt like I was in a place filled with drug addicts. I was parked outside and this guy was tweaking by his Car! As a recovering drug addict (clean for 4 years) I felt like this was definitely not the place to be. Pictures on website are a little deceiving. It also smelled a little weird. I get that every hotel has a little weird smell. LolnAlthough the extra star I am giving is only generous, they did refund me before check in time and let me go to another hotel. So thank you for doing this! Very sorry but this is my honest review. That place needs an update for sure.
