Desert Rose RV Park

This is a well kept campground run by kind and helpful staff. Check in was quick and easy, but despite still being under a state indoor mask mandate, there were none to be seen here.nThe layout and spacing is pretty typical of commercial camping with level sites throughout. Our pull-through site was easy to access, and while we fit, it was snug all the way around. Our utilities were easy to reach and worked well, including a heated water hook-up (handy here in the winter), and our Verizon service worked well without a booster. The park is pretty tight on space and low on grass for dog walking, but they do offer a reasonably sized dog run and there is an open field behind that park that worked well for us. There is only a little road noise, thanks to their privacy wall, but there is a lot of coming and going throughout the park (though every car that passed, drove slowly, and I didn’t hear a single car stereo).nThis CG is more expensive than what we usually pay for this type of site/location, and their actual pricing is a little different/vague from what I saw on their website - nightly we paid $44.18: $38 for March/Winter + $1 resort fee + $1 pet fee + $4.18 tax.

They can really pack them in, but the facility was great. Super clean and the staff was very friendly. The wifi did go out on us which unfortunately was an issue for us because we were working. We haven't set up our own wifi system yet because we are just trying out the RV life. We couldn't get the cable to work, but that didn't bother us. They do have a dog park with provided bags which is awesome. The bathrooms were private suites with showers which was great.

This RV park is very nice, clean and very friendly customer service! I will definitely stay here again.

Nice accommodations lots of long term resident who speed through park recommended 5 mph. Inconsistent cable TV. Nice staff and most campers are also nice.
