Carson Tahoe Hotel

Normal hotel to stay. No kitchen but you have a small refrigerator and common microwave so you can heat your food. If you search for a hotel has smoking facility the s has smoking rooms. If you don't like smoking or it's smell you may avoid. The hallway and lifts, sometimes the rooms have the smoking smell. After sometime your nose get used to that smell and smoking no longer issue. Am giving 3 star since I don't like smoking smell

This is a very old hotel with visible wear and tear from the elevator through the hallways into the room.nThe bathroom upon entry looks rough with some sort of long soap bottle in the shower and stuff on the seat of the toilet and possibly the housekeepers have truly given up having any pride in their job and a sign the management/owners simply don't care. Both are apparent.nThe beds lol...one bed had a comforter on and the other was without. Was this room half finished?nNo fitted sheets or mattress protectors, just three flat sheets.nI flipped up the sheet and there were crumbs or something questionable on the mattress along with housekeepers hair.nnSwitching rooms, the complaint remains and the mattress comfort old very old mattresses. Super old and uncomfortable.nnGlad we booked on priceline $72 total otherwise, $130.00 is outrageous to pay for this place.nnI hope they improve for the sake of other travelers.

WiFi doesn’t work, room smells like smoke, bed spring has a big hole in it... Wasnt asking for much here but okay. Service is good though.

Old hotel and they have renovated a bit. Beds are not super clean. Its cold in the room, looks like they haven't caulked the windows properly and cold air sneaks inside the room and keeps the room cold despite cranking up the heater. In addition they have a thin blanket which you would realize its cold during middle of the night. Shower area doesn't drain well and water logs inside the tub. Won't recommend at all unless you don't get a room anywhere else. Certainly not worth for the price. Not sure how it has 3 star reviews.
