St Charles Historic Hotel, Carson City NV

Hotel is located in heart of Carson City. Lots of places to visit and eat. One main issue is the lack of a TV. The only tv is on Nexflix or Ruko. There is NO cable or local tv stations available. This includes any sports or news channels. The shower is made for humans under 200 lbs. Luckily we did fit this criteria.

I stayed two nights recently at the St Charles and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Central location close to good food, coffee, and spirits, great walking around old Carson City. I rode my bike all around town and found that Carson City is quite bike friendly. My room was scrupulously clean and well appointed; I really appreciated the kitchenette with everything I needed to make coffee in the morning, tea at night, and to store and reheat the leftovers from my food adventures nearby. I loved the big deck and took my wine out there in the late afternoons to enjoy the sun and the sound of the water feature in the square. Jennifer and Linda were so responsive, parking was convenient, and I want to go back with my husband and rent the suite. Wonderful place in the heart of Carson City to stay.

We were in town to play Brewfest with our band and we all stayed at the charming St. Charles Hotel. My husband and I stayed in one of the suites right on the plaza. It was such a beautiful room, plenty of space to sit and relax, a nice kitchenette to have coffee in the morning and a super comfy bed. The location can’t be beat! We can’t wait to come back and stay there again, hopefully soon!

Great room and location.

Such a clean place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet. State Capitol is right outside the window making it beautiful to gaze at during the night. Wifi works fast, and it seems like the owner really cares about this place. Furthermore, Firkin & Fox is right below the hotel, making it convenient for excellent food!
