Casa Escondida Bed & Breakfast

We had an amazing time this past weekend at Casa Escondida. The casita we stayed in was beautiful, and serene. Annie and her husband not only welcomed us, they made us feel comfortable and at home.nnBreakfast was fresh and delicious, wish I knew the secret to those fluffy eggs and pancakes.nnWe will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for any couple looking for a romantic atmosphere.

The Host never responded to my messages. Due to weather conditions (snow storm) I had to cancel my reservation and request a refund as this was out of my control. They didn't even reply. I can't believe that, even in these tough times, a hotel is willing to take all your money without providing you any services and that they don't even have the politeness to answer you.

We had an absolutely delightful 2 night stay - the room was a beautifully done SW classic with a back porch and individual entrance and the host wore her mask the whole time when we got our delicious homemade breakfast so we felt very COVID safe. It is minutes from the sanctuary and great hiking. We loved our stay and are very eager to return soon!

We had a lovely time letting go at the Casa Escondida casita. Belinda showered us with warm hospitality, enabling us to really enjoy our stay in Chimayó. We especially loved reading outside among the sounds of chirping birds — including hummingbirds! — on the well-kept grounds, watching the stars and a delicious green chile soufflé and fresh-brewed coffee for breakfast. Keep in mind that the B&B is on the countryside; we were visited by a few friendly critters.

Belinda's food and hospitality make this hidden gem the best in North Central, NM. We were in the Vista Room in our last visit and enjoyed the patio and views. The Kiva Room was great this winter with the gorgeous fire place. Belinda is an incredible cook and host! She also recommended a hike that is now one of our favorites. Casa Escondida is close enough to Taos and Santa Fe, but is quiet and secluded.
