AMAZING! I spent a couple months here and it was great. Just like any other hotel it does have a couple things here and there but overall was great. They do need to do a better job removing snow. The staff is amazing. Jose and his staff always made sure i was comfortable. They have a great crew up in the desk. If i could of stayed longer i would of!

I love Discover Lodge!nThe kind, courtesy and availability of Jose, the manager, was a gift.nnThe location, beauty, and stillness invited me here plus, a golf course next door, and lovely fish pond.nnThe room was immaculate. My stay was most enjoyable so I lengthen it.nnTheir friendly staff greeted me warmly my entire stay. I’ll be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay a year ago but this time it was not good. The room was dated but clean. The bathroom was interesting in that the tub was green. The sliding doors took some effort to lock and unlock from the outside. The hill going up to the road might be a challenge when it’s icy. It’s pretty much across the road from The Stanley Hotel and very close to restaurants and downtown. The day we were leaving, there was no cold water coming out of the faucet, only hot water, and the toilet wouldn’t flush at all. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I love this place! It is an older lodge/motel on the eastern edge of town. The construction is log and the bathrooms are modern with excellent room heating and cooling. We come every year and this year the rooms have been updated. Views of the Rocky Mountains are excellent and there is easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in numerous hotels around the country and Discovery is one of the best. Very calm and peaceful. Their front desk staff is amazing. Jose was very kind and attended my call at 3am when we got locked out of our room. Would stay here again. Do not let the negative reviews foul you as this is the best in town!
