I went in to check in for my reservation and was immediately greeted by a rude manager. When I finally found out that my reservation was made for the wrong day I asked if there were any rooms available for the night. Immediately the man said there was nothing available for august. When I tried to explain that I did not need a room for august I needed a room for the night the man instantly told me no and asked me to leave. When I asked him what the problem was and that I was just trying to give them business the man raised his voice and told me to get out now. When I tried to calm the situation down the man threatened to call the police as he yelled at me to leave. He then followed me out to the parking lot as he was talking to the police on the phone.nnI never raised my voice and was simply trying to find a room for the night. The man refused to check for a room and continued to ask me to leave from the time I walked in. Due to the complete lack of customer service and extremely rude manner of the employee I would never return or recommend this place to anyone. The only impression that I got from this hotel was that there was something shady going on and it was not a safe place to be.nnDo not stay here

Great friendly budget hotel. Stayed 3 nights for spring skiing. Clean and comfortable.

We love the Dillon Inn! It is NOT a 5-star hotel, but it's just as clean if not cleaner than most of them! The owners are so very friendly and the hot tub and pool do not disappoint! We will make this our go to hotel going forward (we hate the I-70 weekend traffic!)

Pleased with our stay at the Dillon InnnnVery convenient location that is close to ski areas and shopping. Affordable option for the area. Very clean and nice amenities for a three star hotel. Pool and hot tub are really nice after a day of skiing. Free parking. Friendly, accommodating staff. We appreciate the smoke-free building. Due to Covid, the free continental breakfast is limited to packaged muffins, danishes, oatmeal, whole fresh fruit and tea/coffee. I feel that this hotel does hit the sweet spot in it's class when you compare the price and amenities to other lodgings.nBe advised that booking or managing your stay must be done online. The front desk seems to be computer illiterate and really only there to assist in a service capacity.nI honestly don't believe the reviews that complain of pests. This was not my experience. I stayed for a week and observed the staff spending hours every day vacuuming/cleaning the rooms and common areas.nThe hotel is advertised as a 3 star hotel, if you demand 5 star luxury this is NOT the hotel for you. Yes, despite the rooms being fully functional and cozy, they do seem slightly outdated as far as decor goes. It might also be a function of the owner's personal sense of taste combined with the hotel's shoestring budget. It is obvious however, that important things like the windows, tv, refrigerator, microwave, charging ports, keycard doors etc. have been updated and show that the owners do maintain and reinvest in priority upgrades for the hotel.nThe Dillon Inn is family owned and managed and they DO live on the premises. They take a very personal interest in their business and have a lot of pride in the hotel that they built. They also get offended by disrespectful guests, smoking in the hotel etc.nThe other reviewers are 100% right about the staff not wearing masks. For some reason, they don't wear masks and don't seem to care if anyone else does. It also seems hypocritical for the owners to have a dog in the hotel yet not allow guests to bring pets. I assume that banning pets and smoking makes the rooms easier to clean and not contain residual pet dander/hair/odors. I also concur that the soap provided is pretty much useless and that the quantities of shampoo are weak. These things didn't really bother us though as we brought our own soap/shampoo, don't have pets or pet allergies and just wear the masks anyway.nThe owners have been very gracious to us, and treated us like family. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying here in the future.

We stayed here after a bad experience at a hotel in Georgetown. My wife and I admit we are spoiled from work by the rooms they provide us for our travel. I have stayed at more expensive hotels that are not as clean as this. The Dillon Inn is a nice and clean hotel with a no thrills atmosphere. Great location and price if you are in the area to enjoy the mountains, or stopping by for the night. I would recommend second floor view was great.
