If I paid $80, this would be 4 stars, but when you play $300+, the level of expectation is much higher. House keeping, front desk doesn't answer the phone. Pool towels are not replenished. Customer service leaves a great deal to be desired. The room itself was clean. The fridge and microwave were an added bonus.

We came with a group of 50 to this hotel. We had a absolutely unbelievable experience!! The manager Adam was super nice, caring, friendly, and did everything possible to make us feel special. He took care of every request, big or small, with a smile and great patience. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were fully stocked. The pool, jacuzzi, and dry sauna were a great plus!! I would advise anyone that is looking for a great hotel experience to come here. And especially if you have a group. The location is also great! If your looking for a affordable place to stay when your going skiing at Brekenridge this is the place! Just a 20 min drive to the mountain and there’s a great ski rental shop that is literally in the same parking lot. The manager Adam can get you discounted pricing there as well. We look forward to returning here in the future!!

My wife, son and I stayed here during a big storm. I70 had just closed, there was limited hotel availability across Frisco. It was late and we have a young child who needed to get to sleep. We just needed a decent place to stay at the last minute.nnWe were charged $696 for the night. When I asked why it was so expensive, the manager’s response was, “it’s the mountains.” I’m sorry, but that statement does not represent prices in the area, even if mountain prices are a bit higher. As an example, I stayed at the St Regis in 2020 at the base of Aspen (a luxury property) for a little less per night we were charged by the Grand. You’re welcome to draw your own conclusions, it sure feels like we got ripped off because of our circumstances.nnI stayed at this hotel a couple of times back when it was the Holiday Inn and it was a decent, reliable place to stay.nnI would give the Grand Hotel a four star review if the price was reflective of what we got and we weren’t so obviously ripped off. The room was clean, just a basic king size bed. The hair dryer was broken which was an inconvenience for my wife. Some of the staff were kind of rude. Also, for what it’s worth, it looks like the new ownership has tried to cut costs in a lot of ways because all of the signage is still from the holiday inn era. It just doesn’t look like they’re trying all that hard.nnBack when this hotel was owned by Holiday Inn it was a great place to stay. It’s 2021 and there are other options in Summit County. Look at those first. I do not give many bad reviews but this place is deserving of one. I do not recommend.

Great looking outside of the hotel. Rooms have microwaves and a little refrigerator. 2 full beds, a desk and 2 chairs..and that's it. For the price I was expecting a completely different room layout.
