This is a true mom n pop bed and breakfast! It’s an older home for sure but the owners are super nice and they make amazing breakfast. There’s a lot of stuff to look at inside the house but not much to do inside the house. The rooms are small but perfect for 2-3 people.nMy mom took us here years ago for a little vacation and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s willing to rent a room inside someone’s home while they’re there. It’s cool.
Stayed in the Mt. Princeton suite with our party of 3 which was roomy, clean, and very comfortable. The B&B is located within easy walking distance of everything Salida has to offer and a short drive will get you to an endless number of world class outdoor activities. Steve was a great host and had some pretty fantastic french toast for us in the morning. Thomas House is definitely a great place, especially if you're looking for a place to stage out of for hikes, climbs, or rafting.
Love the beautiful furnishings and how it feels like home! Absolutely can't wait to stay there again! Great location too! Thanks so much, Steve!
Friendly environment, it was enjoyable socializing with others over breakfast. Tammy and Steve are amazing owners and provided a lovely experience. We got to hang out and have some good conversation with some other people at this Bed and Breakfast. It was fun and we thank you for the overnight stay.
Cool quirky place in downtown Salida. The rooms are great, comfy bed, nice sitting area, and easy to walk anywhere downtown. Breakfast is around a big table with the other guests, fun way to start the day.
