Mountain Goat Lodge was so cozy! We could tell from the review that is was very pet friendly so we chose it and brought our dog who was treated like a perfect guest as well. Fun to walk out back to the farm and see the goats and alpaca. Morning breakfast made by Gina and Darcy's lattes were delicious and overall it was a casual, laid back place; like staying at a family home. Need to go back in warmer weather to hike the beautiful mountains surrounding the city.
Gina and Darcy were excellent hosts. My husband and I travelled from Denver to stay with them for a couple of days over Christmas. Very accommodating down to allowing a last minute cancellation and refund of our cheese making class as I was not feeling well our last morning. They have a lovely little property with friendly goats. We will definitely visit them again!
This was our second trip back to the goat lodge and it was as perfect as we remembered it. Our dog Penny Lane, thinks she lives there now would like to move in. Gina and Darcy were once again phenomenal hosts with great conversations and sweet personal touches. We can’t wait to come back when the babies are born!nThanks again! Erin, Joey and Penny Lane
Highly recommend. Clean, quiet lodge that is very accepting of your pet. Great views from the room and the deck. The goats were great to interact with. The breakfast served is outstanding, made with fresh ingredients grown on site!
The Mountain Goat Lodge was such a great bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Princeton room, which offered great mountain views. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the home made breakfast was delicious! She made a different breakfast every morning and her husband made a wonderful latte. They were better than most coffee shops I've been to. The animals only add to the atmosphere and there was a nice path to walk around the property. I will stay here again if I ever come back to the area. I highly reccomend.
