Cool little ghost town. Especially fun attraction for kids because they can feed the chipmunks. There are also a lot of hummingbirds. Bring cash, the chipmunk food (sunflower seeds) cost 50 cents for a small bag. Also fun to stop at Agnes Vaille Falls on your way to St. Elmo.

A hidden gem. Enjoy the comfort of this handcrafted, cozy inn. Drink in the beauty of the Colorado wilderness while you disconnect from your crazy, busy life and reconnect with nature-- so peaceful! You'll love talking with the interesting and welcoming innkeepers as while being treated to some fabulous meals. Can't wait until I can visit again!

This is by far the coolest place I've ever stayed! Chuck and Sharon are fabulous hosts. They both love the area are are very familiar with all of the history around here. The food is fantastic! The house itself is not only beautiful and solidly built, but a feat of engineering! Chuck built the place himself over a period of ten years and designed it to look like the other buildings in St. Elmo. The guest rooms are on the top floor of this three story house and everything is beautiful and well thought out. St. Elmo itself is a beautiful place. There are chipmunks right outside the front door of the guest house that you can feed and they'll crawl all over you if that's your thing! Some of the best and most beautiful Jeep and 4x4 trails leave right from St. Elmo. We have stayed here twice and look forward to going back again!

Wonderful and cozy b&b with excellent food. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely want to come back! Chuck and Sharon make everyone feel like family.
