The Lake Motel

We made a last minute trip to Lake George and found this place on a recommendation from another hotel that was booked. This place did not disappoint us. The staff at the front desk were very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. We didn't realize there was a car show going on that weekend and the staff at the hotel were very nice with helping us park and get situated. Our Room was clean, comfortable, and there was a lot of space. We weren't bothered by our neighbors or any excessive noise. The location is perfect to walk right into the village. And I was pleasantly surprised that the Room rate was reasonable for Lake George, on a weekend, in the summer. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Staying at the Lake Motel was a throwback to staying at the roadside motels I would stay in with my parents when I was a kid. From the smells to the sounds to the decor in the rooms it felt a little like a timewarp back to the early '80s.nnFirst, this isn't a bad thing. The hotel grounds and rooms were very, very clean. The pool area was great fun for the kids and its RIGHT on the lake. It's the kind of place that encourages you to meet new people and to chat with folks by the pool or on the dock over looking the lake - by the way, that's a great feature of their dock, it's two stories tall and provides a great view of the lake as well as of the ducks and fish in the water - instead of isolating you from others with less common areas or events.nnOne of the things we loved about the Lake Hotel were the nightly events that they planned for the families and kids staying there. Whether it was s'mores night or make your own sundae or candle making, we were there and the kids loved it.nnWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake Motel and hope to stay there again next summer.

The hotel is great, super clean, we stayed during Covid 19 pandemic and felt very safe since everything in the room even the remote control was disinfected. Front desk lady was kind and helpful. Free kayak and paddle board were great. Overall great place to stay in Lake George. Also, it’s walking distance to most restaurants and attractions.

Absolutely Amazing Motel with very beautiful Rooms! Incredible views of Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains with an extremely convenient Location! This is so far my favorite place to stay in Lake George! The private beach was also very nice! Prices are great, the Beds are so Cozy and Comfortable and the TV is amazing! Maps are included in the rooms with directions to some Very nice attractions which was really helpful! The Air Conditioner worked great and felt really nice! This is definitely the place to go if you want a really enjoyable stay in Lake George!!!

We just got home from a spectacular 4 day get away with our NCC HOG chapter. The rooms were awesome. The staff went above and beyond for us! What an amazing place and amazing weekend!! Thanks to you all!!!! Highly recommend this place!!!!
