Had the premiere room with jacuzzi! Beautiful view and room! Hot tub under stars at night was breathtaking! Staff was excellent, made sure we had everything we needed! Look forward to another visit!

My wife and I stayed here for one night over the weekend. Amazing, cozy, lovely B&B. Diana, the host/owner, was so welcoming and did everything she could to make our stay warm. Though I did a last minute booking, she gave us three rooms to choose from. We had a great time. It's so peaceful here. If you are one of those people who needs Hilton or Hyatt welcoming and all luxury that 5 star boring hotels offer, you probably should not be staying here.nHowever, if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, warm, romantic place to stay-you will feel yourself home.nAnd her awesome family style breakfast on a lovely patio with astonishing views of the Lake will make your stay even more romantic.nWe also enjoyed her hot tube on a chilly evening after spending an evening in Ithaca.nThank you Diana!

ud83eudd42ud83eudd70This has been the best place I stayed in, price is reasonable.ud83eudd70ud83eudd42 But the views that you get from this place is just magical, especially seeing Cayuga Lake, but not only have I enjoyed the breakfast which was homemade and delicious. But I must say I read a review someone saying how it was the best breakfast they've had but I must agree it was for me, especially with the view of the lake.ud83cudf73ud83eudd5eud83eudd6aud83eudd56☕ud83cudf75ud83cudf72ud83eudd53ud83eudd58ud83eudd57nnDiane was just lovely ud83dude0a amazing, very knowledgeable about a lot of things. She event recommended places where we can go nearby.nnBefore booking I would call ud83dudcde usually for the prices and to see what rooms are available.nnThere wasn't any central air conditioner and I must I was a little nervous about that since August is usually the hottest month in New York. Diane mentioned the breeze at night is actually coming a lake front, I must say I had to use the covers at night because it was cold especially with the ceiling fan and stationary fan that every room mostly has.nnAt night your able to sit on the porch, there's some chairs, you can literally see the stars so clear, you'll start to feel like your in outer space. ud83cudf0cud83cudf20ud83dudcabud83cudf1fud83dudc96ud83cudf7eud83cudf77nnThere's a little shared fridge in the hallway, where you can store drinks and etc, just ask ud83eudd70Dianeud83eudd70. But I hope in the future there's a fridge in every room.nnWe had our own private bathroom ud83dudebfvery clean, room was clean. Beds were comfortable, there was also a lot of reading material.nnAt the end of the day, when I came back home ud83cudfe1, I was upset I wasn't still over at the Inn.

If you are looking for a hotel experience ... keep movingnWe had the top room in the main house the first night. Breath taking view from the balocny and bed. We've been exploring swimming holes and waterfalls since lock down began and the spot less that a mile from the house did not dissapoint. Coffee add breakfast were amazing. We spoke to Diana about staying on the way back from our trip and she was more than helpfull. She made a decision to put us in the top floor at the other house, we were leary on the ride over. She knew we'd love the extra privacy it provided. We took a short walk to the lake and then went back to the swiming hole. We made a fire and made use of the hot tub when the sun went down. We went back for breakfast and ate with what seemed like old friends.nWe always look for intimate, off the beaten path experiences. This is now at the TOP of the list for us locally.

Dianne was a nice host but I was concerned right from the beginning. She never emailed confirmation and after several calls & two email requests for confirmation, we just decided to risk it and continue to the inn. Upon arrival, she tried to change the room we initially agreed upon because she had a different room that was immediately ready. We then agreed to come back after touring Ithaca when the room we first requested would be ready. No problem. But when we did finally come back later at night, someone else was already in our room! At that point, it was a he said/she said kind of game. They said Dianne had given them that room. But when I called Dianne, she said those guests had played her to get a better room. What to believe? Either way, we decided that since the other patrons had already moved around our room (even though they “offered” to leave it), we would simply go to another. Unfortunately, the new room and the common area were very dirty & dusty. There’s odd knick-knacks everywhere in the house. I think Dianne wanted that unorganized artsy, discovery feel to the place but instead, I felt the house was full of dust, cobwebs & random curled up, faded pictures. For a B&B I felt this particular building was sadly neglected. The kitchen had a recycle bin that was overflowing from prior guests and had counters with cobwebs & dirty, junk filled cabinets. There were no waste baskets that I could find for garbage & the bedding (blankets & comforter) needed to be washed while the pillows were hard, flat and smelled old. In that particular room, the bed squeaked all night with each turn and kept me up, the springs were so old. I had to move to another single bed. Also, there were some broken fixtures such as toilet paper holders, light knobs & light fixtures around the house that didn’t work. Interestingly, there’s lots of patterned materials such as drapery & hand made hammocks around the house but much of it stained or in need of washing to re-fresh it. The following morning, Dianne was nice and said thank you for taking the other room but even with her “discount” for the inconvenience, I felt that particular room was overpriced. Breakfast was very delicious with a nice mix of vegetables & omelette! However, I ended up feeling very unsettled about the whole affair and would not recommend this place unless Dianne were to clear out some of the stuff and hire a groundskeeper to do more than mow the lawn because the rest of the grounds were overwhelmed with weeds. Even though the feel was supposed to say “nature”, I got a sense the landscaping at that particular building had been neglected for more than a few years. However, the view of the lake was lovely. End point: There’s hope here but I think the owner is overwhelmed & possibly disorganized. Some thrive on that.
