Holiday Inn Long Island - Islip Arpt East

The staff is very friendly. A great place for a short stay up to a week or a business trip. No dressers for clothing. Rooms have a nice decor. Bathrooms have great mirrors and large showers with secure handrails. Giant screen TV. Super comfortable king size bed. Rates are really reasonable through booking.com or similar.

I loved the beautiful remodeled lobby! Its super cute and spotlessly clean, just like the rooms. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are amazing. This hotel offers all the amenities you might want and has excellent staff. The front desk staff are always kind, and were helpful with even very specific questions and requests--Dani is especially nice! I would certainly recommend staying here.

I stayed at this hotel for quite a few nights and enjoyed my stay. Everyone at the concierge desk was very pleasant and accommodating. Especially Dani, who worked at the front desk was very nice and helpful and made me feel at ease. Any issues I had Dani helped to resolve them. The hotel overall is very nice and clean. My room was spacious and tidy. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay on Long Island.

From the second you walk in the gleaming lobby, you are greeted by a friendly professional staff that will do anything to make your stay perfect! Matt, Kassidy and John are possibly the best in the industry! The hotel is immaculate, the beds are like sleeping on the backs of angels, and the food from the hotel restaurant is fantastic! And you can work off the great food in the gym with a view! Other hotels on the island pale in comparison to this GEM!!!

The room and infrastructure is good. I had stayed here before Holiday Inn bought it and it is definitely an improvement. But I stayed from Saturday thru Thursday and housekeeping did not once touch the room. There are keurigs in the room but no coffee or creamer/sugar. When asked to send coffee, the staff sent only coffee. When calling front desk, put on hold until 15 minutes later when I gave up. An alarm of some sort went off at 5 am for a solid hour. High pitched shrieking noises are hard to sleep through. If you bring your own towels and coffee and creamer and sugar and earplugs, I am sure you will enjoy the renovated rooms.
