Dovegate Inn

The Dovegate Kitchen at the Inn in Schuylerville is a hidden gem! I live in the area and drive past many times and finally we had a chance to try it. We were surprised to find such a cozy, carefully arranged dining room with a chic, collected look creating a wonderful atmosphere. The menu was creative and even included comfort foods! They offered the front sitting room for kids to color and relax during the meal. It's chef owned and operated by a husband/wife team. Our meals were delicious and the apple pie a la mode a specialty. Just a sweet place. I highly recommend trying it!

Great food, nice room, easy parking, owners and waitress were very pleasant. Kept the restaurant open for me past closing time to allow me to finish. No complaints!!

Seriously one of the cutest little inns I’ve stayed at! We stayed at the garden room and it was adorable. They’ve really fixed it up and made it cute, with antique and modern accents. It had a big bed, couch, and a couple comfy chairs for lounging. We also loved the front porch and felt so comfortable staying here. It was just what we needed before heading to the Washington County fair for the week!

Thank you so much for a terrific wedding reception. The food was terrific, the staff was pure perfection, and the place is adorable. What a great place you have there. You all are true professionals and we appreciate all your hard work to make our special day truly great. We appreciate all the little details, like the fresh herbs in the tiny vases surrounded by votive candles. Nice touch!, Loved the cake plates too.

OMG what a FANTASTIC meal we had last night. We were a party of 5 and had appetizers , salads and entrees. We all tried each others meals and loved everything. Amanda our waitress was such a pleasure and went above and beyond. My Dad is in a wheel chair and they made access through the kitchen so easy and no stress. I highly recommend checking out this place. One last thing the charm of eating in the dining room of the inn was wonderful. Enjoy...
