Town House Inn

This hotel has many bad reviews, and some of them speak the truth. Does it smell like smoke? Sometimes. Is there some paint chipping on the walls? Yes. But this is a hotel where the rooms are cheap and the location is perfect, so what can you really ask for in such great value. I don't think this hotel is deserving of such bad reviews if its only purpose is to accommodate people for a few nights at a low cost near the center of action in Oneonta. So please do not heed of these crazy stories, and take the plunge, after all the vacation is not about the hotel it is about the memories.

No hot water. Floors were filthy and guy above was dealing drugs from his room

Room was dingy, but I've definitely stayed at worse. Price was too good to pass up though and the guy at the counter was really kind. Bathroom smelled like cigarettes, my light flickered all night, the walls are as thin as paper so I could hear everything, and I saw a drug deal happen outside the parking lot. But for 60 dollars, all worth it. Sorry for blowing up your toilet though ud83eudd37‍♂ufe0f

Not a bad stay. Place is old but sufficient if you don't care about aesthetics. Girls at the desk very friendly and gave us discount when they didn't have to. Everything you need and don't need is in the room. Bed and linens were clean and it was less than half the price of the big name places and right in the middle of town. We liked it.

Would give it zero stars if possible. The place is old, not well taken care of and smelled of cigarette smoke. We rented 2 rooms, one had a off the hinges bathroom door, a plugged sink and four mini fridges. The other had crunchy carpet, a dirty shower curtain and smelled smoky. Both rooms had no hot water and scarey dirty comforters. One star for cost under 100. Don't bother rent somewhere else.
