I am very angry at Mr. Michael Forman. He asked me to wait 12 days before he could come to my home to give an estimate for a metal roof. The initial contractor, with whom I am very happy suggested a metal rather than a standard shingle roof. That contractor prepared half the roof (tear off and new plywood) and was willing to hand the job off to Mr. Forman to apply a metal roof. Mr. Forman was very difficult to contact through the entire process. He asked for pictures, did not respond to text, email, and voice messages and only answered his cell phone at odd hours. He was always in a rush, and communicated poorly. I conveyed to Mr. Forman that the urgency involved here is that the other contractor needed a decision from me and I politely asked him to give us some idea of his interest in the work. Today was one of the days when he actually answered his phone. It seems inconceivable but he acknowledged during our brief call that he had completely forgot about doing the estimate. He was supposed to be here today. This contractor has caused me to lose time, money, and patience. He may be able to work for you if you have plenty of time to plan and wait for him. I will not know what his work is like, but his business practices are so poor that I would not take the risk of hiring Mr. Forman. The initial contractor will finish the job after he and I patiently (and ultimately in vain) waited for Mr. Forman to do something.
